The rules changed. If you filed Form N-400 on or after October 20, 2025, you take the 2025 civics test: the officer asks up to 20 questions drawn from a bank of 128, and you need 12 right to pass. Anyone who filed before that date still takes the old 2008 test, with 100 questions and 10 asked. This course teaches the 2025 test, and it walks every one of the 128 official questions on camera, numbered exactly as USCIS numbers them, with the answer and the reason it is the answer, so the history and the government behind each one make it stick. Around that, you get the part most study lists leave out: how the test is actually scored and when the officer stops asking, what happens if you fail and how the re-examination 60 to 90 days later works, who is exempt from English under the 50/20 and 55/15 rules, what the 65/20 special consideration changes, and what the medical exception on Form N-648 covers. You also get the English test itself — reading one sentence of three, writing one of three, and the speaking test that is really the officer listening to you answer questions about your own N-400 — plus what changed in 2025 beyond the test: good moral character judged on the whole record, and the neighborhood investigations USCIS resumed. Seven questions have no permanent answer because they depend on elections, appointments, or the state you live in; those are taught as a habit, not a fact.
