A trip backwards through time, made for children aged 6 to 8 and hosted by Lupe, a golden retriever puppy who discovers everything alongside the child. Episode one hands the child a tool rather than a fact: a dinosaur is the animal whose legs went straight down under its body, which is why the flying one and the swimming one in the same episode are not dinosaurs at all. From there the eleven episodes walk forward through the three ages in order, so the shape of the course is the shape of the time it covers. Along the way the child meets the first dinosaurs, small enough to fit in a bedroom, a long-neck tall enough to look in a fourth-floor window, a plated one whose tail spike was found punched through a hunter's bone, the king with banana-sized teeth who lived closer in time to us than to that plated one, a Velociraptor the size of an angry turkey and covered in real feathers, and three dinosaurs dug up in Brazil, one of them among the oldest known anywhere in the world. It ends with the rock from space, and then with the thing almost nobody knows: the pigeon on the ledge outside is a dinosaur, and they never entirely went away. Every size is honest, drawn against a row of children at the true ratio, and every picture was made for the sentence it appears under. There are no exercises inside the videos and nothing to get wrong.
