Financial Math for Public Service Exams
BeginnerThis course is for Brazilian public service exams (concursos públicos) and the lessons are taught in Portuguese. Financial math decides many bank and tax-authority exams in Brazil, and it almost always shows up the same way: the right formula, the rate in the right unit and a calculation you can do by hand. This course starts from zero and shows that method with Professor Daniel, in the style of the Cesgranrio, FGV, FCC and Cebraspe exam boards. Part one is simple interest: the time value of money, principal, final amount, proportional rate and term. Part two is compound interest and rates: compound amount, equivalent rates, nominal and effective rates, and real and apparent rates. Part three is discounts: commercial and rational, simple and compound. Part four is payment series and amortization: equal installments, the Constant Amortization System (SAC) and the Price table. The last part is equivalence of cash flows, Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The questions are True or False and multiple choice, each with the full calculation in the explanation.

Tips
VPL positivo: o projeto vale a pena
