This course is for Brazilian public service exams (concursos públicos) and the lessons are taught in Portuguese. Social Security Law is the heart of the exam for Brazil's National Social Security Institute (INSS), tested by the Cebraspe board in True or False items where a swapped deadline or a wrong percentage costs the candidate the point. This course starts from zero and explains the letter of the law, already updated by the Social Security Reform, with Professora Helena. Part one is Social Security and its funding: health, social insurance and social assistance, the objectives in article 194 of the Constitution and the contributions of companies, domestic employers and insured persons. Part two is insured persons and dependents: employee, domestic worker, individual contributor, casual worker, special insured person and voluntary contributor, contribution salary, grace period and the classes of dependents. Part three is General Social Security Regime (RGPS) benefits and Constitutional Amendment 103 of 2019: qualifying period, calculation from the average of the whole period, retirement, transition rules, survivor's pension and maternity pay. Part four is the BPC continuous cash benefit under the LOAS, the inclusion allowance, retirement for persons with disabilities and benefits under special laws. The last part is deadlines, appeals and crimes: lapse and limitation periods, appeals to the Social Security Appeals Board, reciprocal counting and the crimes of social security misappropriation and evasion. The questions follow the exam-board style, and every answer points to the article of the law.
